We start the adventure with a morning drive to the small coastal hamlet of Yallingup (meaning, ‘Place of Caves’), where you can swim, sunbathe, and enjoy a barbecue lunch on beaches well-known for surfing and fishing all the while being overlooked by the rich and famous in their secret private resorts. Humpback whales migrate along this stretch of coast in the months of Oct – Dec taking their newborn calves down to Antartica and are often only 50m – 100m from the shore. After two hours of sunshine, we’ll delve underground on a tour through Ngilgi Cave. Upon surfacing, we will make our way down Caves Road, sampling wines at Swings & Roundabouts, and smashing beers at Bootleg Brewery. We’ll finish our day at the campground where the shady peppermint woodland meets Conto Springs Beach. Once the swags are unrolled, we will watch the sunset over the ocean while eating dinner, before embarking on some exciting night fishing. Day 2 begins with an early morning fishing session followed by a drive to Hamelin Bay to meet the local stingrays. Next, a short drive to Borunup Forest for a scenic barbecue lunch. The Margaret River Adventure winds up in this renowned town with free time for you to explore, before embarking on the drive home, reaching the drop off point around 5pm.

We keep our tours small to give you an authentic Aussie adventure. When it comes to the great outdoors we know how it’s done, and you’ll get to do it like we do it. No big tour buses or hotel receptions. Just grab your beach gear, hop aboard the 4WD and head off. Our hotel room is a white sandy beach and our views are second to none. We live with the wildlife and eat from the ocean. So if a memrorable experience of the land Down Under is on your bucket list it’s time to tick it off.
– We meet at 7am at Bullcreek Train Station, throw your bags in the back and head off. The 2 and a half hour drive to Meelup Beach gives us plenty of time to get aquainted. After a couple of hours enjoying the beach we have a bbq lunch and head underground. After an hour or so down Ngilgi Cave we resurface to enjoy some local wines at the Swings n Roundabouts Winery. Next a short drive to Bootleg Brewery to down a few local beers then off to Contos, where we’ll set up camp near the beach and enjoy a sunset dinner. Night times when the big fish come to feed so we’ll cast a line, crack a beer and try our best to land a feed.
We wake with the sun and walk down for an early morning swim and last chance to catch a fish before they head out to deeper waters. After a big bbq breakfast we pack up camp and head to Hamelin Bay to pat the local stingrays and enjoy some sun on the beach. Next we’ll drive to nearby Boranup Forrest for some trekking, caving and then rest with a relaxed forrest lunch. Our last stop is Margaret River Town and some free time to relax and explore. Leaving Margaret River at about 2pm we’ll be back at Bullcreek Train Station about 5pm.
